LifeWorks' goal is to build strong and resilient families. We support youth and families in their strong determination to achieve self-sufficiency and make generational change. LifeWorks has identified four basic cornerstones necessary to this scale of success - Counseling, Housing, Education/Workforce, and Youth Development. We have developed a full continuum of services within each. There is no “one size fits all” at LifeWorks. Every family has different needs and different goals. Youth, individuals and families may use any combination of services below to move their lives forward. |

We meet our clients “where they are” and work to set concrete goals and establish accountability around choices and progress.
Large goals are broken down to smaller, very realistic ones to allow clients to see a pattern of success that motivates them to long-term achievement. |
We believe that everyone deserves at least one person who is fiercely and unconditionally devoted to his/her success. LifeWorks’ clients are youth and families who are experiencing significant barriers to education, workforce and healthy relationships. Often, the gravest issue they face is a history of abuse, neglect and/or on-going family conflict. These issues can be exacerbated by poverty and lack of education and workforce opportunities which can lead to generational cycles. At LifeWorks, we believe that everyone possesses the skills needed to lead a successful life. Our “strengths-based” service philosophy builds on the unique skills and resources of each individual and family to help them reach their goals and achieve long-term success.
This positive approach may sometimes be in stark contrast with what our clients have experienced in the past. For example:
