Hey guys. I didn’t realize that talking to you would effect me in such an emotional way. Then I came to understand that you were all truly there for me when my own family wasn’t. LifeWorks was my family. I came from a life of little trust in men and what their motives with me were. The men at LifeWorks were solid male role models, real dads to me. I don’t think I really appreciated what you represented to me, but I thank you so much.

I’ve always spoken highly about LifeWorks when I am telling the story of my life. I have been across the nation (both coasts) and no program I’ve seen or experienced really compares. I mean, you don’t JUST offer assistance and services, you offer your hearts and you love the forgotten. I am forever grateful that I was one of those forgotten. 

I’ve claimed throughout all of my 20’s that I always wanted to go back and work for y’all. I know today that my passion is with youth restoration in many ways. I believe it was because of the impact of everything you did for me as a scared lost teenager on the streets. I want to reach youth and let them know that I was where they are and I really truly understand and get it.

     Anyway, here’s a picture of me and my Bekah. I will keep you informed on what’s going on here. I’m in the middle of trying to figure out where exactly I’m going and what day I will graduate from this home (hopefully soon!!).
