LifeWorks Selected for Austin’s Inaugural AIGA Changemaker Series
Earlier this summer, LifeWorks was selected as one of three non-profits to participate in the American Institute of Graphic Arts’ Changemaker Series.
The series unites teams of creative professionals with non-profits and social change organizations to use design thinking, sustainable frameworks and creative tools to help advance their mission. This is the first time the AIGA Changemaker Series has come to Austin, and we are proud to be part of the inaugural group of three non-profits (LifeWorks, Foundation for the Homeless and Texas Appleseed) selected to participate in such a unique opportunity.
As part of LifeWorks’ involvement, our three-month project will implement design thinking, sustainable frameworks and creative tools to help advance our mission.
Our team of seven highly-collaborative AIGA team members, along with LifeWorks marketing and communications staff, have arrived at the creation of a tool to help increase philanthropic efforts to LifeWorks. That tool is more than likely going to take on the look and feel of a newly-designed online donor webpage, where prospective donors will have full access to easy-to-digest information, articles, stories about the youth we serve, as well as providing a donor’s prospective on why they’ve chosen to support our mission to end youth homelessness.
Our project will be featured in a Changemaker Series showcase on September 27, 2018. Details on the location and time of the event will be shared soon!
