High School Equivalency Eligibility
Eligibility requirements are:
Youth ages 16-26.
If you are 16 years of age, you need to have:
An official Court Order or be in CPS custody.
Parent/guardian consent.
If you are 17 or 18 years of age, you need to have:
A high school withdrawal form from the last school attended.
Parent/guardian consent.
Government- issued photo ID, such as a state driver's license, Department of Public Safety identification card, military ID, passport, or Matrícula Consular. (School ID cards are not accepted.)
Proof of residency in Travis County, such as a Texas driver's license, utility bill or bank statement showing a Travis County address.
Proof of monthly household income at or below 200% of the federal poverty income level, such as paystubs or certification of unemployment.
*All required identification must be obtained within one (1) month of class enrollment.
Youth must be at a minimum of a 2nd grade reading and math level.
