Anyone can. We offer mental health services to youth as young as 5, to adults of any age, and to families of all kinds. You don’t have to be part of any other LifeWorks program to get started.
-
Many people qualify for free mental health services through our grant-funded programs. If not, we offer rates based on your income and household size. We’ll work with you to find an options that fits your situation.

Just call us at (512) 735-2400. A LifeWorks team member will talk with you about your needs and help you take the next step.
-
Both. Depending on the program and your preferences, you can meet with a counselor or peer in person or over a secure video call on a limited basis.
Some services also happen in the community. For example, we can meet at your home, school, or another space where you feel comfortable.

Peer support is a powerful approach to mental health care. Our peer specialists are certified and trained to help others by drawing on their own experiences with things like trauma, substance use recovery, or mental health challenges. They're not therapists, but they're a key part of the care team, offering support that many clients say feels more relatable and easier to engage with.
-
When you get started, we’ll talk through what makes sense for you and adjust as needed along the way.
It depends on your needs and the program you’re in. Some people meet with a counselor or peer for a few months, especially if they’re working on a specific goal. Others stay connected longer, especially if they’re facing ongoing challenges or trauma. -
Our counseling approach is practical, evidence-based, and shaped around your goals.
At LifeWorks, we offer a variety of therapy options through Youth & Adult Counseling. Our team uses a range of proven approaches—like Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and trauma-informed care—to help you build skills and move forward.
Whether you're navigating family conflict, trauma, depression, or anxiety, we'll work with you to find the support that fits your needs.
